Companion Volunteer

Bandrum Nursing Home is a residential home in Saline. Friends of Bandrum are looking for Companion Volunteers to spend time with their residents who may be isolated through a lack of visitors, or who would benefit from people to engage in activities with.
As a Companion Volunteer, you will have a regular time that you visit Bandrum, and can choose to take part in different activities with the residents. This could be chatting over a cup of tea, reading a book together, spending time in the gardens, playing board games, walking the grounds, or other activities that help the residents to connect and spend their time well.
If you would like to gain experience while making a big difference to the lives of local people, this could be the role for you.
