Volunteer & Student Recruitment Coordinator

Help provide a prompt, efficient service to volunteers and students who apply to join Dundee Stroke Exercise Club.

This will involve making initial contact from DSEC, sending out application forms and requests for references and forwarding the information to our designated Trustees at the charity. If the applicants come for interview or are taken on, you would also arrange orientation with a Trustee at our charity base.

This role will give you the opportunity to enhance your administration skills and gain experience in a Coordinator's role. If you are under the age of 26, you can receive Saltire Award certificates in recognition of your volunteering.


Experience required

Basic IT skills, good communication skills, organised.

Home based.

Travel expenses

Travel expenses reimbursed for training only.

Support
Training details

Further training can be given to cover a variety of administration tasks if so desired. Not essential.

Taster

A mock session can be given if no volunteer applications have been received.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 18

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
