Research, Magazine and Directory Volunteer

Adelphe works to empower women from ethnic minority backgrounds by providing tailored coaching, mentorship, and practical workshops that foster growth, professional success, and a strong sense of community, ensuring that every woman is seen, heard, and empowered.
Adelphe is looking for volunteers to support their research and storytelling through Thrive Magazine and the Women’s Directory, helping capture community voices and highlight women’s achievements.
The main duties are to:
● Collect feedback through surveys, interviews, or focus groups.

● Help with evaluation forms and data input.

● Gather and write stories for Thrive Magazine.


● Support building and updating the Women’s Directory.


As an Adelphe volunteer, you can gain experience in research, journalism, and community reporting, with by-lined contributions in Thrive Magazine. This is a great opportunity to build your CV for media, research or communications.


Experience required

● Interest in writing, research, or media.
● Good organisational skills.
● Confidence speaking to people and capturing stories.
● Respectful of sensitive information.

Travel details

Adelphe runs a hub with the Community Support Hub in Dunfermline's Kingsgate Centre, KY12 7QU. This role can also be undertaken from home.

Travel expenses

Expenses can be discussed on a 1-1 basis.

Support
Training details

Volunteers will receive an induction to Adelphe, and will have ongoing support from other members of the team.
