Trustee

Home-Start Falkirk provide support to families with at least one child under 5yrs in the Falkirk area. We offer a befriending service through our home visiting volunteers, telephone support, peer support, baby massage, sleep counselling and group work. We are an early intervention service to empower and enable families to thrive as childhood can't wait.

Trustees help guide and govern the scheme - we are looking for individuals who ideally have an interest in supporting families and children. Volunteers don't need to have previous experience of being a Trustee.

We would be keen to hear from applicants with knowledge in HR, funding, social care, hospitality, quality assurance or social work would be fantastic but not necessary as full training will be provided.

Ideally you would have 2hours spare per week which would include duties of attending a monthly board meeting (usually on a Monday evening 6-8pm) and helping with scheme governance.
