Board Treasurer

Fathers Network Scotland improves children's lives through the positive involvement of dads, father-figures & whole families.
This is a voluntary role requiring attendance at six 2-hour Board meetings each year. The Treasurer supports the Board in maintaining financial oversight and helps achieve the charity’s financial objectives.
You will be confident in reading financial accounts and reports; have experience in overseeing budgets with multiple income streams; enjoy leadership and team decision making; and most importantly - you will be passionate about supporting Scotland’s families through the positive involvement of fathers.
If you would like to provide visible and effective financial leadership to a passionate and dedicated team with children’s wellbeing at its heart, please get in touch today.

Experience required

A background in financial management is appreciated. The ability to confidently approve and monitor a multi-income streamed organisational budget is essential. Previous experience in a board role would be advantageous but is not necessary as training and support is offered as part of the role. You must be eligible to serve as a Charity Trustee.

Board meetings are in The Melting Pot, Edinburgh – close to the train station, but remote attendance is possible. Most other meetings are held online.
