Arts & Crafts Group Leader

Become an Arts & Crafts Leader!

Make a difference through creativity!

Common Thread Vision (CTV) is a small charity organisation, based in the Southside of Glasgow. We exist to promote equal opportunities for elderly community members in accessing various health and wellbeing services, including a Lunch Club, Arts & Crafts, Yoga and Massage.

The purpose of CTV is to improve the health and well-being of the elderly members who live in the Glasgow area. Our services enhance the quality of life by reducing loneliness and isolation, maintaining, and improving their independence.

We are looking for a friendly, creative volunteer to lead fun Arts & Crafts sessions for our welcoming community group of older adults (with members from their 40s upwards).

If you love painting, making, designing, or simply sharing creative ideas - this could be the perfect way to give back while brightening someone’s day!

What you’ll do:

Lead or assist with simple, enjoyable crafts and art projects (we’ll provide materials or help source them).
Inspire creativity and conversation in a relaxed, social setting.
Bring joy, confidence, and connection to our group through hands-on activities.

Commitment:
We require someone twice a month on Thursday afternoons from 4.00pm – 6.00pm. We are based in Pollokshields Community Centre.

What you’ll gain:

The chance to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Build new friendships and community connections.
Share your creative passion and learn from others.

Whether you’re an artist, crafter, or simply someone who enjoys getting creative - we’d love to hear from you!
