We are looking for a third director to join our board and support the running of the company. This is a light-touch, voluntary role suitable for someone who shares our community values and wants to contribute to making a positive difference.
You do not need any specialist experience, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to attend monthly online meeting.
Role:
• Attend monthly online directors’ meetings (around 1 hour per month).
• Contribute to discussions and decisions about the company’s direction and activities.
• Support good governance and help ensure the CIC continues to meet its community objectives.
• Review and sign off key documents or funding applications when required.
• Act as an ambassador for the CIC’s mission and values.
Experience required
• Genuine interest in community work, children and young people wellbeing and healthy eating habits, or food education.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Reliable and able to attend online meetings.
• No specific qualifications or previous board experience required but appreciated.

We can offer training in Elementary cooking skills, Food Hygiene and Nutrition for successful candidate,
Restrictions
Minimum age: 21
Volunteers (aged 21-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
