Home Visitor (Glenrothes)

Blind Veterans UK helps vision impaired veterans to rebuild their lives after sight loss. We provide rehabilitation, practical advice and emotional support to members regardless of how or when they lost their sight.

Volunteers are essential in helping Blind Veterans UK to ensure no one who served our country faces blindness alone.

Can you spare an hour a week to help blind veterans live independently?

As a Home Visitor, you’ll provide vital social interaction, this could be a friendly chat over tea, helping with small household tasks, or enjoying a walk locally. You’ll never be asked to provide personal care.

Volunteers must be 18+, reliable, punctual, and respectful of confidentiality and boundaries. The role is flexible around your commitments, and full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you feel confident and comfortable.

Join Blind Veterans UK in making a meaningful difference
