An opportunity to join a group seeking to establish a charitable organisation supporting asylum seekers housed at the Cairn Hotel, Bathgate while their applications for asylum are considered. This is a voluntary position and you will be responsible for the governance arrangements, ensuring objectives are met and finances managed well.
The Cairn Hotel community inclusion group (CHCIG) is a group of volunteers providing support through befriending, conversational English classes, sporting activities and other initiatives to people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities who are seeking asylum in the UK.
