We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to volunteer as Childcare Workers. In this role, you will support the care, development, and wellbeing of children within our organisation, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in gaining experience in early years education, child development, or simply wishing to make a meaningful difference in children's lives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities.
Assist with the planning and delivery of age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
Support the daily routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and hygiene needs.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage social interaction among children.
Ensure the safety and security of all children at all times, following safeguarding procedures.
Contribute to the general upkeep and tidiness of the playroom and outdoor areas.
Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Report any concerns or incidents promptly to the designated supervisor.
