Unit Leader/Assistant Leaders and Young Leaders

The 61st Glamis Scouts are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our Beaver Scout section.
We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Scout Hut in Glamis, where our young members (aged 6–8) take part in fun, engaging activities that help them learn new skills, build confidence, and make friends.
No previous Scouting experience is required, just a willingness to get involved, support young people, and be part of a friendly, supportive team. We provide programme ideas, resources, and ongoing guidance to help you feel confident in the role. Any required training can be completed online at a pace that suits you.
Volunteering with Beavers is incredibly rewarding and a great way to give back to your local community, develop new skills, and be part of something positive and meaningful.
We’re very happy for anyone interested to come along for a no-obligation “taster” evening to see what we do before making any commitment.

Experience required
