Twechar Outdoor Pursuits Centre is a community-driven adventure hub offering accessible outdoor
learning opportunities and shared space for individuals, groups and organisations across Twechar and the
surrounding areas. We provide a safe, inclusive environment where people can connect, develop new
skills and enjoy the outdoors together.
You would be assisting instructors with all our land and water based activities helping those who would
benefit the most from accessing the outdoors,

Experience required

Although not essential a love for all things outdoors is welcomed. With a passion for helping others, polite,
friendly with a can do attitude

Support

Training details

After informal chat we will meet the volunteer at the centre, give them a tour covering health and safety
and fire regulations. Ongoing training and support will be delivered.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 16

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
