Squirrels is the youngest section in Scouts for children aged 4β6, focused on fun, games, adventures, crafts, outdoor activities and helping young people gain confidence and life skills from an early age.
Weβre looking for adults from the local community who could spare a little time each week to help run sessions. No previous Scouting experience is needed at all β just enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to get involved. Full training and support will be provided.
You could help with:
πΏοΈ Running games and activities
π¨ Crafts and creative activities
π₯ Outdoor adventures
β Helping behind the scenes
π Supporting young people to have fun and grow in confidence
Volunteering can be flexible, and even helping occasionally can make a huge difference.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help bring something new and valuable to local children and families in Tannadice and the surrounding area.
Experience required
No previous Scouting experience is needed at all β just enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to get involved. Full training and support will be provided.

11 June - 11 December 2026
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
