Young Person Befriender

Aberlour Children’s Charity has built an excellent reputation over the past 30 years for supporting children and young people who have experienced disadvantage and trauma arising from early childhood experiences.
We are deeply committed to a child-centred approach, placing the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development of every child at the heart of what we do.
As a Volunteer Befriender, you will play a key role in supporting a child or young person in foster care by providing consistent, positive, and supportive companionship. Your involvement will contribute meaningfully to their healing journey and support their re-engagement in healthy, positive social relationships.
