Slamannan Action Group is a volunteer run community organisation. The Group provides a range of community events and activities in Slamannan for all in the community.
Slamannan Action Group are currently looking for a volunteer Treasurer. As Treasurer your role is to be responsible for the accurate and confidential keeping of the Slamannan Action Group’s financial details. You will also be responsible for supplying information to, and supporting the development of funding applications along with Slamannan Action Group's Chair and Secretary.
Tasks include:
*Managing the Club’s money
*Keeping accurate records
*Paying bills
*Collecting membership donations
*Preparing the accounts for inspection at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
*Appropriately storing financial records
The majority of this role could be done remotely with the exception of attending meetings and presenting the up to date accounts.

Experience required

Good people skills.
Understanding good governance.
Ability to keep accurate financial records.
Respecting confidentiality.
