Charity Shop Retail Volunteer

The Hidden Treasure Charity Shop is run by Falkirk Baptist Church which aims to provide quality goods at very reasonable prices in the Bainsford area of Falkirk. Monies made from the shop to go local causes such as the Aberlour Family Centre, Guides, Brownies, BB's and Schools etc.
Hidden Treasure Charity Shop enjoy creating good relationships with customers and other voluntary groups within the area. They are looking to recruit new volunteers to assist within the shop to help with the following:
*sorting of donations and stock
*steaming of clothing items
*pricing
*sorting displays
*general tidying/cleaning

Experience required

Ability to operate the till and card reader - either via previous retail experience or a willingness to learn.
A friendly, outgoing attitude and ability to interact with customers of all ages from a range of backgrounds.
A sympathetic view of the Christian faith is preferred as the shop is run as one of the ministries of Falkirk Baptist Church to support people in the area. It is not necessary to be a member of the Church in order to volunteer in the shop.
