Jedburgh Food Bank

Jedburgh food bank delivers packages of food to individuals and families who have had a referral. The coordinator’s role is to pick up these referrals from recognised agencies, collate information, and pass this onto the delivery team.
There is no need to visit the food bank or deliver parcels. This is a home based coordinator role.
Experience required
Phone skills. people skills. Decision making. The ability to manage an awkward situation. You will sometimes need to say no to people.
Travel details
A car is not essential, this is a home based opportunity. The coordinator information and phone passes between the coordinators on a weekend, so some travel, or availability for collection is required.
Support
Training details
Would be with another coordinator until confident, then there is always support.
Taster
We can discuss the role over the phone, I can show you examples of the work.
