Donation Welcomer & Sorter

To act as the welcoming face of our donation hub, safely receiving household items and clothes from the local community and sorting them efficiently so they can be quickly distributed to our partner charities.
Time commitment:

• Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays (flexible shifts between 9 am and 4 pm)

• Someone who enjoys chatting with the local community and working as part of a happy team
  Active and adaptable:


• Happy to be on your feet and comfortable handling light-to-moderate lifting from cars
  Organised:


• Someone who appreciates an orderly space and takes pride in keeping surfaces and sorting areas clean and tidy
  Greeting and lifting:


• Welcoming friendly donors as they arrive and helping to bring donations safely from their cars into the shop
  Organising and sorting:


• Categorising and sorting incoming donations (clothes, books, homeware) cleanly into bags or boxes for distribution
  Creating a safe space:


• Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming environment by clearing up wrapping materials and wiping down surfaces
