An opportunity to support and be part of a groundbreaking group, providing person-centred support to young people with additional support needs in a youth club setting. Supervising fun and creative activities, engaging with young people and working as part of a relaxed and supportive team.
Working with 2 staff and other volunteers, working together to support a group young people. Designing, delivering and supporting engagement in fun activities, such as arts and crafts, baking and in the summer outdoor activities.
Experience required
You must have excellent communication skills, be reliable and committed. Available on Thursday evenings on a regular basis. No experience necessary but a willingness to learn and awareness of additional support needs would be an advantage.

Training details
Informal induction and training will be given and may lead to formal training.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Availability
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
