Youth Work Volunteers

The Elgin Youth Cafe is looking for 18+ aged volunteers to help with drop-in sessions, cooking, holiday programmes and other youth work activities. Most of the sessions are after school and evenings. We are looking for Youth Work Volunteers to…
• Chat to young people, getting to know them, and taking part in games and activities with them.
• Listen to young people’s ideas...and, if you would like to, share a talent of hobby that you have.
• Learn new skills, and take part in training and development provided by Elgin Youth Development Group.
• Give something back to the community. Meet other like-minded adults and have fun!

If you have a genuine interest in working with young people and could volunteer a few hours a month, please get in touch and help make a difference in our community and to the lives of our young people.

Experience required

Like working with young people, patience, good sense of humour and any hobbies they think young peole may enjoy doing in an evening is always a bonus.
