Volunteer Fundraising Co-ordinator

The Scottish Huntington’s Association (SHA) exists to tackle the inequalities in health and social care provision, ensure families are better connected to support and services and increase the capacity of other agencies through training and education.

Fundraising Co-ordinators will join a new and exciting national fundraising network to help raise awareness and funds. The funds raised will support the Huntington’s disease (HD) lifeline services we offer across Scotland at no cost to the families living with this devastating and incurable genetic condition.

You will be part of an inspiring group of fundraisers helping to organise can & bucket collections, a variety of events and other fundraising and awareness raising activities.

You will help promote the work of the charity and encourage others to support Scottish Huntington’s Association within your local community and as part of the inspiring and very active wider HD community across Scotland.

You can gain valuable professional experience of fundraising co-ordination, developing, organising and managing events to aid employability with free induction and ongoing training, reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses and meet new people.
