Vintage Vibes

We are looking for a fabulous volunteer to join our Vocal Vibes singing group as the piano accompaniment. The focus of the group is to bring isolated older people (our VIPs) together to build up confidence and create connections through the shared love of singing! There are around 18 VIPs who attend and we sing songs from across the decades! As a volunteer you will accompany our song leader in the sessions and performances and collaborate with them and group members to select the songs.
Travel details
This is an in-person volunteering role. Vocal Vibes meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 11-13:00 in an accessible venue in the city centre and is close to several transport links.

Training details
Attend an interactive volunteer training sessions with other volunteers. Attend fun volunteer meet ups every 2 months – such as bowling, escape rooms - with other volunteers. Monthly newsletters for inspiration and conversations starters with your VIPs. Ongoing interactive training opportunities such as dementia awareness.
