Tearoom Assistant

Tearoom Assistants play a valuable role in welcoming visitors from all over the world to Kellie Castle & Garden and ensuring they make the most of their visit. The tearoom serves hot and cold drinks, as well as warm soups, cakes, and scones, providing a cosy and relaxing space to reflect and refresh at Kellie Castle. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for experience in a hospitality setting, customer-facing roles, or just wanting to brush up on their barista skills. You also play an important part in promoting the National Trust for Scotland, an independent charity that speaks up for Scotland’s heritage, cares for historic properties, and protects our natural landscapes and the wildlife that call them home.

Experience required

No experience is required as full training can be provided. Just a friendly, warm demeanour, a willingness to learn and an interest in interacting with visitors from all backgrounds & cultures to provide a safe & welcoming environment, as well as an enthusiasm for the work and values of the National Trust for Scotland.

Travel details

All opportunities are based on the property. The property is not on public transport routes but has car parking available, including accessible parking at castle, and bike racks.
