Our creche is a vital service for our adult students where pre-school children are looked after while their parents attend English lessons (10-11 and 11:30-12:30). We do not feed the children or take them to the toilet.
Your role as a supervisor would include:
- opening and closing of the creche, safeguarding / emergencies, ensuring all processes, risk assessments and routines are respected through the day.
- ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children and of the team.
- ensuring all records are kept up to date and administration is regularly completed
- creating a positive team culture. To guide, inspire, support, train, and lead your team effectively, providing a positive work environment for all.
- Responsibility for creche resources – enforcing respect for them to reduce damage, organised correctly, cleaned and in right places.
- Responsibility for tidiness of the creche room
- Organisning creche rota
- Assisting with the recruitment of creche workers
If you're available on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday mornings 10-12:30, and you'd like to join the team, please apply here:
