Social media/Publicity Volunteer (Barra)

Citizen Advice Bureau need to raise and maintain their profile in the community.
This is to ensure that:
Everyone who might need the bureau's services can easily find out what is offered and where it is available and when.
Potential volunteers are aware of all the volunteering opportunities they have available.
Funders recognise what great value there is in supporting their local CAB.
Politicians and decision makers see the social policy evidence provided by the Citizen Advice network in Scotland and by the individual bureau.

Some of the task sthat may be done by volunteers are:
Writing content and creating graphics for social media posts.
Promoting the bureau by staffing stalls at local events/rural shows, student fayres, local markets/supermarkets.
Giving talks about the bureau to interested local organisations.
Creating leaflets and posters.

Experience required

Knowlege of social media and enjoy meeting new people.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 16

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
