Are you a person of Faith? Are you looking for an opportunity to share love and compassion in your community?

As a Volunteer Debt Adviser, you will have the opportunity to make a profound difference in people's lives. Imagine helping someone who is overwhelmed by debt, struggling to make ends meet, and facing constant stress and anxiety. Your support can transform their situation, providing them with the tools and guidance they need to regain control over their finances. By offering free, impartial, and confidential advice, you will help clients navigate their debt challenges, reduce their financial burden, and ultimately achieve a sense of stability and peace of mind. Your involvement can lead to improved mental health, stronger financial independence, and a brighter future for those you assist.

Your key responsibilities will include offering empathetic and non-judgmental advice to clients about their financial situation, helping them navigate their debt challenges. You will assist clients in creating realistic budgets, negotiating with creditors, and finding the best debt relief options. Additionally, you will empower clients with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed financial decisions and avoid future debt problems. Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress will also be an essential part of your role.
