Volunteer Secretary

*Join our team as a Volunteer Secretary.
*Looking to help your community and have great admin. and organisational skills? Then we need you.

Ruthrieston Community Centre is located on Holburn Street and has been at the heart of the community for over150 years. The centre offers a range of physical activities such as pilates and yoga, hobbies for example sewing and drawing and community groups meet ups. Our community cafe encourages our residents to come and interact and foster community spirit and resilience.

Ruthrieston Community Centre have fantastic opportunities for people to help. As a Volunteer Secretary you would:
• Attend Trustees meetings once a month to take notes and distribute meeting papers.
• Update our Facebook page and Instagram.
• Help produce and distribute a monthly newsletter.
• Assist with booking and invoicing.
• Keep policies up to date.
• Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers and is fantastic, enjoyable opportunity to help and make a real difference at a vibrant community centre serving the community. All assistance is greatly appreciated.
