This branch is looking for additional volunteers to help them carry out their branch activities.
What you will be doing
There are several opportunities available to you at the branch, depending on your skills and how much time you are willing to offer. You could:
Ensuring that the branch is a safe place for children and vulnerable adults and is complying with NAS policies
Organising branch fundraising activities
Writing a newsletter for the branch members
Organising group outings and activities for branch members
Be responsible for the campaigning the branch does
Organising PR for the branch including running a website
Be responsible for the refreshments at events

Experience required
Skills needed vary depending on the role within the branch and include:
Planning and organisation
Reading and writing
Keeping in contact with other members of the branch
Friendly and welcoming to new members
Travel expenses
Agreed expenses reimbursed
Support
Training details
You will be asked to complete our elearning modules before you begin volunteering
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Availability
Frequency & commitment
This takes place in Rutherglen Library on the 3rd Thursday of every month. 5-6 pm
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
