Little Acorns is a social enterprise delivering the highest quality nature-based and holistic learning opportunities for children and families in Ayrshire and SW Scotland.
We are currently looking for Cooking & Kit Room Support Volunteer. Have you got skills in cooking? Do you like to be organised? We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare snacks, batch cooking for freezing, buying in supplies or cooking on the campfire during sessions. The role may also involve keeping our kit rooms tidy after a busy forest school session.
Everyone who volunteers with us is different, but we ask anyone who works or volunteers with us to act in a way that reflects our values. This helps us make sure you feel you belong and means we can make a meaningful difference to people’s lives and provide the best service possible.

Experience required

We are ideally looking for volunteers who have some cooking skills. All our volunteers complete induction training, which helps you settle in and makes sure you have the knowledge and support you need for your role. We also offer additional training relevant to your role if you want to broaden your skills more widely.

Travel details

We offer travel expenses to our volunteers.
