Animal Support Volunteer

Little Acorns is a social enterprise delivering the highest quality nature-based and holistic learning opportunities for children and families in Ayrshire and SW Scotland.
We are currently looking for Animal Support Volunteers. Do you enjoy caring for animals such as goats and chickens? This opportunity allows you to get hands-on volunteering at the Little Acorns Farm. You could be feeding our animals (goats, chickens and ducks), cleaning them out and collecting eggs.
Everyone who volunteers with us is different, but we ask anyone who works or volunteers with us to act in a way that reflects our values. This helps us make sure you feel you belong and means we can make a meaningful difference to people’s lives and provide the best service possible.

Experience required

All our volunteers complete induction training, which helps you settle in and makes sure you have the knowledge and support you need for your role. We also offer additional training relevant to your role if you want to broaden your skills more widely.

Travel details

We offer travel expenses to our volunteers.
