Long Covid Cuppa

Long Covid Cuppa aims to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for people suffering from Long Covid to come together and make new friendships.
The Administration Support Volunteer would support the committee who are living with long covid to:
- Take notes during meetings when guest speakers come along so that important information can be shared with other group members
- Upload important information such as notes from meetings onto our Facebook page.
- Upload important information such as a link to a website, pictures taken or digital leaflets sent to us to our website.
- Online sessions we have paid for to be uploaded.
- Monitor and respond to emails from new members. General enquiries can be sent to an individual giving them a flyer or information on meeting dates or link to the group Facebook page etc.
- Help organise dates for activities - contact 3 or 4 people to arrange a date which suits them all to attend an activity and confirm with provider dates suitable for them.
Experience required
Previous experience in taking notes of meetings beneficial. Able to use Facebook.
Understanding nature of disabilities and limitations people living with Long Covid have. Very flexible as committee/members often can’t commit to deadlines due to health issues.
Travel details
Upper Braes Parish Church Hall, on-site parking.
Around another 2 hours a month in your own home.

Committee members would give guidance on the information required to be captured and uploaded to Facebook.

Frequency & commitment
2 hours per month on a Friday between 2pm and 4pm. Around another 2 hours per month in your own home.
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
