Glasgow Citizen Advice Bureaux
- VO104893
Citizens' Advice is an independent organisation specialising in confidential information and advice to assist people with legal, debt, consumer, housing and other problems. It also identifies and campaigns on systemic issues that arise through the advice service, such as the widespread damp and mould problem in the former Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village in the Dalmarnock Village area that has since been transformed into social and owned housing.
We need help with maintaining a social media presence for CABx campaigns, to both help build a following and increase campaign visibility and impact, and to interact with other related local organisations in an effort to boost the campaign message. We want to campaign on a variety of platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and microblogging platforms such as BlueSky. Punchy short form video content that doesn't shy away from speaking truth to power, an interest in and ability to follow and publicly interact with a range of relevant figures and organisations to promote the campaign, and a passion for social change will be highly prized.
If you are interested in using your social media powers for good, this is the opportunity for you.
Experience required
• Ability to work both as a team and independently.
