Accord Hospice

We have a wonderful opportunity within our team of gardeners this year.
We are looking for local (ideally) individuals with some interest, and a bit of gardening know how to keep our gardens looking bright and beautiful.
Our gardeners have a rota for keeping the ground watered in the summer, but the rest is up to you! You can come daily, weekly, monthly for as long as you like.
We have some raised beds which we are able to provide fruit and veg to the Hospice kitchen, so patients and staff can enjoy fresh local food.
Last year we were fortunate to receive a greenhouse which has also provided our patients with a place to grow.
Experience required
• To have an interest in gardening and some experience may be useful for this role, but it is not essential.
• Warm & friendly personality.
• Good communication skills.
• To be physically able to conduct light gardening duties.
