Creative Hangouts
- VO105820
Are you aged 18-25 and looking for an opportunity to develop the experience and skills you need to access employment or education? whilst also contributing meaningfully to your community? At Creative Hangouts we want to support you to achieve your goals.
Creative Hangout is a grassroots arts organisation committed to opening creative opportunities for children and young people in local communities. We believe that every child deserves to learn about art in a fun, safe and child-led environment.
Volunteering with Creative Hangouts is more than just helping out, it's about becoming part of a dynamic, inclusive team that nurtures creativity, play, and child-led expression. Our volunteers support the delivery of visual arts workshops that are fun, exploratory, and grounded in the needs and interests of the children who attend. You’ll receive shadowing opportunities, a budget for training and on-going support to help you grow in confidence, creativity, and communication skills. There is also the opportunity to run your own workshop with support and supervision! You will also join a supportive network of artists and creatives who care deeply about young people’s access to the arts and making a real impact in the community. Together, we can create a safe and happy environment where children and volunteers can thrive.
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic people aged 18-25 who may be facing difficulties entering employment or education that can commit to volunteering weekly on Wednesday afternoons in the Pyramid, Anderston.
What you can gain from volunteering with Creative Hangouts:
Develop personally and professionally through hands-on experience in arts facilitation, child development, and community engagement.

Feel valued and empowered as a core part of a team that respects your input, encourages your ideas, and recognises your contribution to building something meaningful.
