First Aid Lead

Broomhill Sports Club seek a designated First Aid Lead is to manage training, application, and recording for a community sports club based in West Glasgow.
Role Purpose
The Club First Aid Lead is responsible for overseeing first-aid readiness, injury-management procedures, and safety standards across all club activities. This is a non-clinical leadership role focused on coordination, compliance, and supporting coaches to deliver safe sessions.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the club’s first-aid and injury-management protocols


Ensure all coaches hold valid first-aid training and understand club procedures


Oversee the stocking, distribution, and condition of first-aid kits


Provide guidance and authority during injury situations when required


Review and record injury incidents, identifying improvements


Liaise with the committee on safety, compliance, and training needs


Support communication with parents and players regarding injury processes


Ensure first-aid equipment is available at all training sessions and matches


Keep accurate records of training, incidents, and kit checks
