Administration & Resource Volunteer

LOOP Theatre is a Scottish charity that provides people with additional support needs the opportunity to learn, create and perform together. We connect with and invest in people, enabling their talents to be shared with the wider artistic community through our weekly drama and theatre sessions.
We are a small, friendly team behind the scenes and are looking for volunteers to support our office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation and wants to contribute to an inclusive arts charity.
Volunteer tasks may include:
Filing and general administration
Maintaining registers and carrying out data entry
Preparing resources for sessions and activities
Cataloguing materials and equipment
Organising and managing class props
Time Commitment:
This role is flexible and typically involves around 3–4 hours per week, usually during weekday office hours. We ask volunteers to commit for a minimum of six months where possible to help provide continuity and allow volunteers to gain the most from the experience.
Support for Volunteers:
You will receive a full induction and ongoing support from the LOOP Theatre team. Training will be provided for all tasks, and a named member of staff will be available to offer guidance, answer questions and help you settle into the role. We want all volunteers to feel welcomed, valued and supported, and we will work with you to ensure the role is accessible and enjoyable.
No previous experience is required—just enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to help. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and value the different experiences and perspectives that people bring.
We are committed to building a volunteer team that reflects the diversity of our community. If you come from a background that is often under-represented in volunteering, we'd especially love to hear from you.
LOOP Theatre also offers a range of other volunteering opportunities, both community-facing and behind the scenes, which you can find on Volunteer Glasgow's volunteering portal.
If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out, then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow on [email protected]
