SEAT SPOT is a Scottish Charity who are championing the need for shops, retail parks and council buildings to provide some accessible seating within their premises for people of all ages, who experience mobility and fatigue issues.
We believe that this is a simple solution to reduce social exclusion in our High Streets and town centres. There are advantages to local businesses, as we believe that customers will be more inclined to visit a business that provides accessible seating.
If you have a few hours to spare each week Seat Spot are recruiting a volunteer who will assist us to have as many SEAT SPOTS as possible in our High Streets by raising funds to enable us to continue funding the campaign.

Experience required

You should have a broad experience of fund raising and the confidence to generate as much exposure as possible for SEAT SPOT including experience of writing a range of grant applications along with the knowledge of how to identify suitable funding sources and opportunities. Good writing skills and the ability to meet deadlines is also required.
