Treasurer

Slamannan Bowling Club Community is a volunteer run community organisation that provide a range of community events and activities in Slamannan for all ages of the community.
Slamannan Bowling Club are currently looking to recruit a Treasurer. Your role as Treasurer is to be responsible for the accurate and confidential keeping of the Slamannan Bowling Club Community’s financial details as well as supplying information to, and supporting the development of funding applications along with Slamannan Bowling Club Community's Chair and Secretary.
Tasks involved in this role include:
*Managing the Club’s money
*Keeping accurate financial records
*Paying bills/making payments
*Collecting membership donations
*Preparing the accounts for inspection at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
*Storing financial information securely
Various parts of this role are flexible and can be done at a time to suit the volunteer, however meetings take place monthly on a Friday evening.

Experience required

Good people skills.
Understanding good governance.
Ability to keep accurate financial records.
Confidentiality.

The Treasurer will be a member of Slamannan Bowling Club Community's Management Committee/Board.

3 hours per fortnight. The Club meets monthly on a Friday night from 7-9pm.
