Catering Volunteer

The advancement of public participation in sport and in citizenship or community development.
The advancement of education and improving the lives of people for whom the facility and activities are
intended.
Describe the volunteering Opportunity
The complex has a kitchen facility to provide hot and cold food and drinks when football matches are
played at the stadium and when other lets of the pitch are taken.
Matches are played mainly on Saturdays and Sundays when there is both men's and women's games.
We are looking for people who are willing to help out and provide refreshments for all the visitors to the
facility, who are friendly and customer focussed so that service is excellent and enjoyable.
This is an opportunity to become part of the match day team and experience working in a modern facility.

Experience required

We are looking for enthusiastic people who enjoy the retail environment and dealing with customers.
This may appeal to students who plan to have a career in hospitality and need some hands on experience
to complement their studies. The opportunity allows input of ideas so that we listen to customers and
provide what they need as well as being able to test out new products.
Anyone with relevant experience will be welcome.

The Faculty Manager will explain the layout, risk assessments and how we operate. There will be debrief
sessions so that we keep improving.
