Encouraging young people to participate in activities, praising them for their achievements and challenging any unhelpful attitudes or behaviour that they may display. Participating in and, when confident and competent to do so, leading fun and engaging group work, conservation and outdoor activities. Experience required
Enthusiasm and energy for running activities and encouraging young people to get involved and try new things. A flexible and determined approach for dealing with unexpected or difficult situations such as poor weather or demotivated participants.
Travel details
In the outdoors in Scotland! We meet at Venture Scotland Offices at 4 Norton Park EH7 5RS we take Young People out on our mini bus for day activities up to 1 hour drive from Edinburgh and residential 3 or 5 day trips throughout Scotland.

Training details
Training provided at regular intervals throughout the year. Some training can be certified.

Minimum age: 16
Availability
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
