Volunteering details
We are currently looking for stewards to help with this years Glenglassaugh Scottish Traditional Boat Festival. The role will involve walking around the festival area and ensuring members of the public attending are safe and provide information and assistance as required.
This year the festival will be held on Friday 27th - Sunday 29th June. We have the following shifts available for stewarding-
Friday 3.30pm - 7.30pm
Friday 6.30pm - midnight
Saturday 9am - 1pm
Saturday 1pm - 5pm
Saturday 5pm - 11pm
Sunday 9am - 1pm
Sunday 1pm-5pm
The ticket office will also be looking for volunteers for the following times -
Sunday 22nd June - Sunday 29th June:
Sunday 22nd June - 12pm - 4pm
Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th June - 10am - 6pm
Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th June - 10am - 8pm
Friday 27th June - 10am - 6pm
Saturday 28th June - 8am - 5pm
Sunday 29th June - 9am - 4pm
We will also be looking for volunteers to help distribute letters to specific areas of Portsoy approximately 1 month before the festival. (This involves a lot of walking and shouldn't take longer than 2 hours)
This year we are offering the following for volunteers:
2 - 4 hours - 1 x Adult Weekend Ticket
4 hours+ - 1 x Family Weekend Ticket
The addition of lunch will be provided for volunteers during the festival weekend (28th and 29th June).

Applicants must be reasonably fit

Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
The stewards are required to be walking round the event at all times while on duty

Frequency & commitment
Volunteers required for one week One off event
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
