Do you love using computers? Then this role is for you researching and valuing items, writing descriptions and listing the items on our Online Listing portal, and picking , packing , and posting the orders.

What you will be doing:
• Researching donated items to find value them
• Preparing items to make the most of our donations
• Writing accurate descriptions to go on our website
• Taking quality photographs to attract online customers
• Packing and posting online orders
• Putting your passion to good use by specialising in your favourite areas

Travel details
Oxfam Shop, 10 High Street, Hawick
Travel expenses
Some travel and lunch expenses can be covered so you won’t be out of pocket whist volunteering with us.
To claim travel expense please keep your bus or train tickets and your expenses will be refunded to you. If you volunteer for a full day lunch expenses will be refunded if a receipt is provided, the exact rate will be discussed with the shop manager at your informal chat

Training details
We have full training for all aspects of volunteering the Shop Manager will assist the volunteer to complete the training on our volunteer portal Assemble.

Minimum age: 14
Availability
Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
