As a youth volunteer for the Baba Yangu Foundation, you will play a crucial role in supporting and engaging with young people within our organization. Your commitment and passion will contribute to creating a positive and empowering environment for youth.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1.Engagement and Support:
Interact with young people in a friendly and approachable manner.
Listen actively to their concerns, ideas, and experiences.
Encourage them to express themselves and participate in activities.
Be a positive role model by demonstrating respect, patience, and empathy.
The project is based in the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) on Sauchiehall Street.
2.Assist with Activities:
Facilitate workshops, events, and group sessions.
Help organize and set up youth programs, outings, and recreational activities.
Support educational initiatives, such as tutoring or mentoring.
3.Promote Inclusivity and Well-Being:
Advocate for equal opportunities and create an inclusive environment.
Encourage healthy habits, both physically and mentally.
Promote positive social interactions among young people.
4.Communication and Reporting:
Maintain regular communication with program coordinators and other volunteers.
Report any concerns or incidents promptly.
Provide feedback on program effectiveness and youth engagement.

Travel details
There are several transport links to the CCA: Cowcaddens underground is nearby as is central station, queen street and Charing cross stations. Travel expenses will be reimbursed on the day
