Be a part of our growing community to support older people this December. This is a short term, flexible, volunteering role that can be carried out from anywhere that has a telephone.
Are you kind, empathetic and ready to help out with just 1 phone call a week in December?
You choose your schedule, and this is great to fit around full-time employment, education and, caring responsibilities. You will be matched with an Older Person and, over the festive period, you'll help make their season just a little bit brighter with your weekly telephone conversations with them. And maybe make a new friendship along the way!
By making one phone call a week in December, you’ll be helping reduce loneliness and isolation in someone over this Christmas period. Make the call to make a difference.
About Us
Re-engage is making life less lonely for thousands of older people every year. Older people tell us that our volunteer-led activities make them happier and more able to trust others.
Our vision is a world where no one is ever too old to make friends and enjoy social interaction.
Our mission is to work within communities to end social isolation and loneliness in older people.

Remote, home based volunteering.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
