National Museum of Rural Life
- VO103755
The National Museum of Rural Life, includes a working farm complete with the farmhouse in which
the Reid family lived and worked for ten generations.
Our team of Farmhouse Guides provide an in person introduction and interpretation of the historic
farmhouse, making sure people get the most out of their visit. They are on
hand to answer questions about the original farming family’s history, the experiences of farming families at that time
in Scotland, and the details and quirks of this building.
We support our volunteers to learn about the museum and gain confidence working with the public.
