This role involves helping to support volunteers who use British Sign Language while they are volunteering with Greener Kirkcaldy.

Greener Kikrcaldy is a community- led charity and development trust working on a local scale to help people and their environment. Their mission is to tackle fuel and food poverty, protect the environment and bring the community together.

As a BSL Volunteer, you would be asked to commit a few hours each week and support either a Gardening or Kitchen volunteer.

This will be a rewarding role as you will be helping to allow someone we could not support to volunteer. Volunteering can improve social connections, help people to learn new skills and to integrated into the community.

Ideally you will be qualified to British Sign Language Level 1 or upwards, be empathetic, personable and have an interest in the organisations mission.

Travel expenses

Travel expenses will be reimbursed, public transport is the preferred method of transport, due to the environmental nature of the charity.

Training details

All volunteers will be inducted into the organisation and offered relevant training appropriate to the role.
