Citizens Advice Bureau West Lothian is a fully independent registered charity with its own Board of Directors/Trustees. The advice service offered is independent, holistic, free, confidential, impartial and accessible to everybody.
If you're interested in learning new skills and helping local people then this is for you. People seek help about a wide range of issues including benefits, debt and money advice, work related problems, consumer issues, relationships and housing.
What does the role entail?
• interviewing clients
• negotiating on clients behalf
• interpreting and communicating information to clients to help make an informed decision
• completing clear case records
• recognising the root cause of problems and participating in taking action
