Whitecrook Community Action Group (WCAG) Garden Scheme is looking for volunteer gardeners to help with grass cutting and weeding in private gardens within the community.
This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, meet new people, and support local residents while helping us raise funds for our premises and community work.
What you’ll do:
• Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
• Weeding and general+ garden tidying
• Helping keep private gardens safe and enjoyable for residents
What we’re looking for:
• Enthusiastic and reliable volunteers
• A willingness to work outdoors
• No formal gardening experience required
Time commitment:
A couple of hours per week, flexible scheduling.
Come and help us make a positive difference in our community while enjoying fresh air and practical teamwork.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
