Uppertunity
- VO97608
Do you love being creative and want to make a difference? Join our friendly team at Uppertunity to support adults with additional support needs and autism to explore their creativity and confidence.
You’ll help run small, relaxed group sessions in arts, crafts, music, sewing or drama. Tasks include setup and cleanup, encouraging participants to try ideas, offering practical support where needed, keeping the group flowing, and most importantly, socialising!
Our materials are mostly donated or upcycled, so you’ll get to think inventively and resourcefully. We’re looking for someone kind, patient, and positive. Experience with creative activities or group facilitation is a bonus but not essential. Sessions run Tuesday to Friday (10am–12pm or 1–3pm).
You’ll always volunteer alongside one of our staff team, with plenty of laughter and learning along the way. We’re an inclusive space that believes in working together and to our strengths.
Experience required
An interest in creative activities and supporting others, plus a friendly, patient, and positive attitude.
