Join Fair Deal’s Board of Directors – Make a Difference in Your Community
Fair Deal is a social enterprise based in Glasgow that supports people with learning disabilities and additional support needs. We work in partnership with individuals to help them live the lives they choose.
We offer a variety of support options and activities, and people can use their budgets to access the services that are right for them.
Our Board of Directors is made up of committed volunteers from the community who guide the strategic direction of the organisation. They are elected by our members each year at the Annual General Meeting, usually held in September.
What does the Board do?
Board members play a key role in:
• Shaping the direction and strategy of Fair Deal
• Making sure the organisation meets its legal and governance responsibilities
• Overseeing performance and reviewing our progress
• Ensuring our work aligns with our core objectives
• Bringing a mix of skills and experience to the table
• Supporting people who use our services to have a voice in shaping our policies and practices
We follow a strong governance framework to ensure high standards in everything we do.
